| Brazos Trails Cowboy Church relates to people of Western Culture, people that love horses, equestrian events and rodeos. We want to reach out to farmers, ranchers and just good ol’ cowboys and cowgirls at heart. Even if you just like cowboy country music, you will feel welcome here. You can come and be as you are. When Jesus walked this earth, people came to him as farmers, ranchers (sheepherders), fisherman, carpenters and merchants dressed in their everyday clothes. The word of God is the same now, as then. Take an hour of the day to enjoy people that are like you and to enjoy music and an uplifting message to help make your week go by a little easier. You might just become part of the trail drive riding for the brand of Christ. |
OUR VALUES
We strive to live a life that would be Christ-like. We encourage family values. We believe that we are part of the community and should be involved in the community. We want to be involved in the education of our young people. We will work with like-minded churches, ministries and associations to further the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We will strive to maintain a culturally relevant structure and keep the message simple.
MISSION STATEMENT
In the 1800’s, cattle trails spread out across our area. Brazos Trails Cowboy Church strives today to spread God’s love. Our goal is to proclaim Jesus Christ and to make him known to people that live where these great trails existed in order for them to become followers of Christ.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
- We believe the Bible to be the infallible Word of God and holds authority over all.
- We believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God, born of a virgin, died on the cross and resurrected on the third day to save our souls.
- We believe in God the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit – Three in One.
- We believe in total immersion baptism as practiced by the early Church.
